Writing Literacy

In any avenue of communications having a well-established writing literacy is very important.  My journey to obtaining my master’s degree has improved my writing skills tremendously.  Writing literacy works hand in hand with crafting and communicating messages.

At the start of our program, we refreshed ourselves on the APA (American Psychological Association) style of writing.  I want to recommend for this that need a quick resource, and this Amazon find of a laminated Quick Study Guide APA guidelines assisted me.  Also, to enhance our connection between writing literacy, APA style, and digital assets, I executed a style guide podcast.

I feel that I have a solid foundation in the APA format in addition to the five main writing types, such as expository, descriptive, persuasive, narrative, and creative.  In nearly every course, I was able to directly apply my education to my career.  Therefore, this assisted the outcome of not only my graduate work but my professional work as well.  Here are some examples of my work.
